Yesterday I was looking for a way, to get the URL of one of my tweets. Unfortunately I have not used an URL to reference a tweet so far. So I made a tweet and asked my followers for help, but without any replys.
Hence, after I found out how to reference a tweet by an URL, I will describe here how easy it is. Maybe it will help you
.
The easiest way: (suggested by Jörg Marx – marx-blog.de)
Just click on the time or date of a tweet and you will get the URL of your selected tweet.
Quiet simple isn’t it
? Thanks a lot Jörg!
Retweet the URL directly with TweetDeck: My Twitter clients is TweetDeck v0.31.2, but I think most Twitter clients will handle it in a similar way. All you have to do is, go to the “other actions” button of a tweet, select “Tweet” and then use the “Reference to” option. TweetDeck will then copy the shortened URL to our “Update frame” and by clicking on this Link you get the “long” version of the URL.

I you now an other way to get the URL of a tweet using Twitter webinterface or another client please feel free to leave a comment here and I will update my post with your name as a reference.
